Adding a reseller
Create a reseller account, enable countries, give credit and set up the brand.
Account. In the SMPP portal, staff Accounts, New: email, name, role reseller. Or the reseller signs in with a yanu-auth account that has the reseller role.
Countries and wholesale prices. Staff Resellers, pick the reseller, add its countries with a wholesale price per SMS in MWK and USD each.
Credit. When the reseller pays, add SMS to its pool for that country (Add SMS) with the payment reference.
Retail prices. The reseller sets its own retail prices on My prices. Until it does, its clients' binds have no price and cannot be topped up.
Brand (optional). Add a theme in the account service: brand name, tagline, logo URL, icon URL, primary and accent colours (#RRGGBB), support email and phones, legal name and the reseller's domain. A super admin does this on the Branding admin page at auth.smsyanu.com/admin/themes.
Domain (optional). Ask the reseller to point their domain to the server. Add the host to nginx in the yanu-infra repo and get a TLS certificate. See TLS certificates.
Check it
- Sign in as the reseller (or ask them to) and check they see only their countries and their own pool.
- Open their domain and check their name, logo and colours show.
- The theme JSON for a domain can be checked with
GET https://auth.smsyanu.com/public/theme?domain=their.domain.
Reseller themes are read at runtime, so no deploy is needed after you add or change one.
